Hi! Please introduce yourself?

My name is DominaLunaKJN, but everyone can call me Keely

What are your interests?

Drawing and writing mainly, though I also enjoy participating in stage productions :3

How did you find Deviantart and how did you decide on your username?

I actually knew about DeviantArt for ten years, a friend of mine introduced me to the site when I was 14, but I was always too nervous and doubtful of my work to go ahead and create an account back then. Now that I'm an adult I figured it was now or never. Took long enough right? LOL

My username was pretty easy to come up with, DominaLuna is my name on Wattpad and I added KJN--my initials--at the end because DominaLuna by itself was already taken. Plus I also sign my work KJN so I figured that would only be appropriate.

How would you describe your art style?

It's a mix between the manga style and realistic

Could you tell us a bit about how you got involved into art and if you have any goals as an artist?

I started drawing when I was really young--I think I was 6 when I first started drawing seriously and said I would be an illustrator when I grew up. That illustrator dream never came to fruition, which is okay, because my goal as an artist is to build up my portfolio and keep improving. Drawing is something I found that I like doing for fun more than for work. Though it would be nice to draw for a living.

We love fun facts - Do you have any for us?

DominaLuna is Latin for Lady Moon which I chose to honor the first anime I ever saw Sailor Moon. The show influenced my style greatly and opened the world of anime and manga to me when I was a child.

What is your least favorite thing to draw and why?

Backgrounds, they are my enemy. They're hard for me because when I draw, I don't draw with a background in mind and I always find it hard to do backgrounds of forests or cities, etc. I'm also not confident in my abilities to do nice backgrounds, but it is something that I want to improve on!
